As long as your ticket is not expired, you can take it to any participating theater. Your ticket is either good for any movie or a specific movie, as detailed in the restrictions on the left hand side of your ticket. Simply present the ticket to the theater box office and tell them what movie you want to see and they will accept your ticket.
First, make sure that your ticket is not expired and that you went to a participating theater listed on this site. If the participating theater has mistakenly not accepted your ticket, please mail your Hollywood Movie Money ticket and theater receipt, along with a letter of explanation to Hollywood Movie Money, Attn: Customer Service, 926 Incline Way, Suite 200, Incline Village, NV 89451. Upon receipt we will review your request and, if appropriate, reimburse you for the amount you paid at the theater up to the value indicated on your Hollywood Movie Money ticket.
Your ticket is either good for a specific movie, or any movie. Either way your ticket is valid for any showing, any time, even for movies listed as "no coupons / no passes". To determine what your ticket is valid for, please check the restrictions on the left hand side of the ticket. Please note, your certificate is only valid through the expiration date listed or until the specific movie is no longer in theaters (whichever comes first). If the specific movie listed on your certificate is no longer playing at any participating theaters in your area, your certificate cannot be replaced.
Hollywood Movie Money certificates are limited time offers which coincide with the release of specific movies or specific promotions. Unfortunately, we are not authorized to exchange, replace, renew, or refund any expired certificates once the promotion has ended.
Your promo code is a five digit number location on your certificate, sometimes followed by a letter (ex. 12345A). It will state Promo Code next to the number.
If your certificate is for a specific movie, then the site will only show theaters that are listed as showing that movie. If there are no theaters listed, then the movie may not be showing in your area. Unfortunately, we have no control over what theaters will be showing the movie. Please note, your certificate is only valid through the expiration date listed or until the specific movie is no longer in theaters (whichever comes first). If the specific movie listed on your certificate is no longer playing at any participating theaters in your area, your certificate cannot be replaced. If your certificate is valid for any movie, and the closest participating theater is more than 30 miles away from your home, then you may go to any theater close to you, pay to see the movie, and then send us your receipt and the original certificate for reimbursement. Please send your certificate and receipt within one week of its expiration date (at the latest) with a letter of explanation to: Hollywood Movie Money, Attn: Customer Service, 926 Incline Way, Suite 200, Incline Village, NV 89451.
There are a few theaters that do not participate in our promotions. Occasionally, we do not know the theater exists. Please contact us and give us the name and location of the theater. If possible, we will contact the theater and add them to our program. At the least, we will be able to give you the location of an alternative theater.
This is because of two possible reasons: If the amount is written in a solid black type, that is the maximum value of your reward and you will have to make up the difference at the theater box office. If the amount is written very lightly (or shaded) and listed as $0.00, this is only to show the theater where to write the amount of your theater ticket.
Unfortunately, in-store promotions are limited time offers which usually coincide with the release of specific movies. All products in stores which contain movie tickets have labels on the front which clearly state the expiration date of the tickets. Unfortunately, we are not authorized to exchange, replace, renew, or refund any expired certificates once the promotion has ended.
Hollywood Movie Money rewards are available in quantities of 500 or more to qualified companies only. Unfortunately, we do not sell certificates directly to consumers. If you would like more information please click here to fill out a brief contact form. Upon receipt of your request, a representative will be in contact with you shortly.
To make sure that all theaters are accessible, Hollywood Movie Money may issue two types of certificates for a certain program. The Hollywood Movie Money certificate that you receive is specific to the type of theater that you choose upon activation of your Print-at-Home code. Please use your certificate at the theater you chose or contact customer service if you have any issues.
Contact us with your question and be sure to mention the promotion. Our customer service hours are 7 am – 6 pm PST, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
